Expanding high-end medical health in the Mainland, Beijing and Shanghai are the key points
The preferred choice for the United Medical Group to enter the mainland market is Beijing and Shanghai, and they chose Phoenix Medical and Shanghai Minmai as partners in the two places.
The joint medical group's cooperation with Phoenix Medical began in July 2015, when Phoenix Medical announced the acquisition of a 20% stake in the former, and after the joint medical group listed in November, the share ratio fell to 15%.
The substantive cooperation between the two parties is to set up a network of general practice clinics in Beijing. According to the announcement, three general clinics will be established in the early stage, and the network will be expanded to no less than 10 general clinics (including self-operated and affiliated clinics) in Beijing within three years. . It is understood that the Joint Medical Group is applying for the licenses of the initial three clinics and is expected to start operations in June and July 2016.
The three clinics are located in Chaoyang District, Shunyi District and Wangjing:
Chaoyang District Flagship Clinic: Covering an area of ​​approximately 600 square meters, it will become a flagship clinic offering general medical, dental and multi-disciplinary services.

Wangjing Dental Clinic: Established in cooperation with Sun Dental Hospital of Spain, covering an area of ​​about 500 square meters.
It is understood that the joint venture between United Medical Group and Phoenix Medical also plans to establish an additional service point to provide inpatient services at the Health Hospital of Phoenix Medical.
The joint medical group's expansion in the Shanghai market is mainly in cooperation with the Shanghai-based doctors. On April 11, 2016, the United Medical Group announced that it has established a joint clinic in Shanghai with a general and cardiology major in Shanghai. Yumai United will be positioned in the mid- to high-end specialty treatment, and the target customers are mainly middle and senior managers of mainland enterprises. In terms of revenue expectations, the United Medical Group hopes that in addition to daily outpatient income, a larger business is to provide medical insurance plans for companies and insurance companies.
In addition to its cooperation with Yumai, the United Medical Group also acquired the target group of professional medical institutions in October 2015. For the Shanghai market, the United Medical Group plans to set up 10 UMP clinics in the next three to five years. The planned Shanghai Puxi UMP Clinic will be adjacent to the financial and entertainment district, covering an area of ​​approximately 600 square meters and will be a comprehensive clinic providing general medical, dental and multi-disciplinary services.
