How to use corn grain harvester correctly

The correct use of a corn grain harvester can give full play to the performance of the harvester, reduce the wear of parts and prevent accidents. It is of great importance for high quality, high efficiency, low consumption, and safe completion of harvesting tasks.

1. Adjust

Prior to harvest, the corn grain harvester should be appropriately adjusted to the actual conditions of the site.

2. Cutter

Header cutters have a great influence on harvesting quality. The gap between the moving blade and the blade guard should be between 0.1-0.5 mm. If not, adjust it by tapping it gently. The adjusted blade should slide freely. According to the growth of corn, adjust the gap between the auger blade and the header floor. Generally there are the following three conditions: the general growth of corn, the gap should be 15-20 mm; corn trees thin and growing, the gap should be 10-15 mm; corn trees tall and dense growth, the gap should be 20-30 mm.

When adjusting, first loosen the auger fixing nut on the two side walls of the header, then loosen the auger extension adjustment nut on the side wall of the header, and turn the adjustment nut to raise or drop the auger. Adjust the gap between the auger blade and the bottom plate as needed. After adjusting, tighten the auger fixing nut.

3. Telescopic teeth

The gap between the telescopic teeth and the bottom plate of the header should be 10-15mm, and for the short and thin corn, the adjustable range is not less than 6mm. For corn growing thicker and thicker, the extension of the telescopic teeth should be increased in front of it, which is conducive to the grabbing of crops and avoiding hanging. When adjusting the gap between the retractable tooth and the header floor, loosen the adjustment nut and move the retractable tooth adjustment handle to change the gap between the retractable tooth and the bottom plate. Move the handle up to make the gap smaller; move the handle down to make the gap larger. After adjustment, the adjustment nut must be firmly tightened to prevent it from falling off and damaging the body.

4. Conveyor

The rake of the inclined trough transports the crop into the drum chamber with a gap of 20 mm between the normal sill and the floor. The chain is inside the header and its gap is not easy to observe. We can measure it by hand. When measuring, first open the observation slot of the trough, lift the middle of the grate, and the height should be about 5 cm. If not standard, it should be adjusted in time. When adjusting, loosen the slot nut first, then turn the slot adjustment nut to achieve the tensioning requirement. The adjusted chain tightness must be proper and do not allow too tight. After adjusting the chain, the adjusting nut must be tightened. Finally, cover the observation slot of the trough and tighten the nut.

5. Run-in

The newly purchased corn grain harvester must be run-in before harvesting. Running-in allows the parts to get the proper fit clearance and discover assembly failures in a timely manner. The first step in running-in is the idle running-in of the whole machine. When running-in, start the diesel engine and run it idle for 10 minutes. Open the header and check if the header rotation is normal. Slowly lift the header and carefully inspect the lifting system for accuracy and reliability.

After the whole machine idling, run and run. Before running and running, carefully inspect and clean the inside of the corn grain harvester. Rotate the pulley on the right side of the middle shaft by hand to see if there is any seizure. Under normal circumstances, it should be able to operate freely. When running and running, from the low gear to the high gear, from the forward gear to the reverse gear, gradually run-in. Check for parking after 20-30 minutes. The items that should be inspected are: whether the left and right chain drives have overheating and other abnormal conditions, whether each drive chain complies with the tightening regulations, whether the tire pressure is sufficient, and whether all the fasteners are loose. After running-in, it is carried out with load running-in, that is, trial cut. Trial cuts should be carried out on the first day of the harvesting operation, and should be carried out on representative plots with relatively flat terrain, few grasses, consistent maturity and no lodging. Start running at low speeds with small feeds and gradually increase the load until the rated feed. It should be emphasized that regardless of the amount of feed, the diesel engine should operate at full speed at rated speed. In the trial-cutting process, each working part should be timely and reasonably adjusted to achieve a good working condition.

6. Choose timing

After adjustments have been made, we can harvest it. However, harvesting using a corn grain harvester has certain requirements on the maturity of corn. Early harvest, high corn loss rate, broken rate and impurity rate, serious losses.

Corn is harvested in three stages: one is early maturing, maturing and late maturing. Here, special attention should also be paid to the fact that, after the ripening period of maize, it will be harvested 10-15 days later, which will help increase income and increase production by 10%. It is forbidden to harvest corn with a water content greater than 25%.

Plastic Pull Tight Seals With Metal Locks

the plastic pull tight seals can be with or without metal locks or jaws. The pull tight seals with metal jaws are designed to closely grap the seal tail by its sharp tooth. The tail only can go through the locking chamber in one direction. A pull back operation will cause the seal tail break. In this way , the seal provides the tamper evidence for the users. The pull tight seals are designed for one time use for many different industries like logistic, medical and phramacy industry, cash transit etc.
