Recently, as the promoter of Baidu Verne Project, Xu Jing, general manager of Baidu's brand marketing department, first revealed the story behind Baidu Verne's plan.

Xu Jing said that the current Verne plan has completed the first dialogue. Next, Baidu's artificial laboratory in Silicon Valley in the United States will be open to the Verne planners for the first time, and scientists at the Silicon Valley Human Laboratories will have deep communication with sci-fi artists and then launch more imaginative products.

Xu Jing said humorously, "In the dialogue recording of the scene, I feel that Liu Cixin's language is taught by the physics teacher. The computer of Andrew Ng (Wu Enda English name) is taught by the art humanity teacher. The language talent of the host Liang Dong is God. That is definitely an epoch-making dialogue of artificial intelligence."

For the Verne plan, Baidu’s explanation is: “Baidu believes that some great 'scientific jokes' can change the world.”

The reason why it was named "Virna Plan" is to pay tribute to Jules Verne, the father of "World Science Fiction", the most famous sci-fi writer of the 19th century, like a traveler of time.
