The following three aspects are important:
Improve body insulation
1 Tractors and other agricultural machinery should be parked in a garage as much as possible to prevent them from being eroded and frozen by rain and snow.
2 start the engine should be preheated at the time, the way is: to the cooling system, add about 60 °C hot water, pause, release and then heat the water until the machine temperature reaches 40 °C before starting to start; release lubricating oil, water insulation heating After the injection into the machine (note that it is not possible to directly heat the oil pan with an open flame); short-time use of electric flame preheater and so on.
3 Cover the engine with insulation curtains, insulation sleeves, spiral plate heat exchangers, and use cardboard to block the wind if necessary.
4 Some engines equipped with organic oil radiators should be toggled to the "Winter" status so that the oil does not flow through the oil radiator.
Prevent freezing machine parts
1 After one day's homework is stopped, how many minutes should be run for the small throttle, and the standby temperature should be reduced and then turn off and put the cooling water. Attention can not be full throttle operation, can not suddenly turn off and immediately put water to prevent the body from cracking due to rapid cooling. When opening the water, open the water tank cover and all the drain switches. Not only in the winter, but also in the late autumn, early spring and the cold wave, when the temperature may reach 5 °C or less, pay attention to the release of water.
2 In early spring, spiral plate heat exchangers and cooling water should participate in antifreeze.
3 Release the water in the fuel tank as scheduled, and strictly prevent the water from mixing into the diesel fuel, so as to prevent the diesel from thawing.
4 Properly increase the proportion of battery electrolyte, use the method of making up for charging to keep the battery fully charged, so that the battery will not lose too much capacitance due to low temperature and the battery shell will be frozen.
Correct selection of oil
1 Because diesel contains paraffin components, when the temperature drops to the freezing point of diesel (above 7°C), paraffin precipitates and infiltrates the oil circuit. Therefore, the choice of diesel freezing point should be higher than the ambient minimum temperature of 5 °C -10 °C, can use low freezing point, good fluidity 0,-10,-20 light diesel oil. 2 For lubricating oils, winter lubricating oil with low viscosity should be used, or thickened oil should be used. It contains additives that can improve the viscosity at high temperature and decrease the viscosity at low temperature, which can improve the engine's low-temperature start-up performance. In the transmission and rear axle, No. 20 gear oil is available. 3 In the hydraulic system, optional No. 40 hydraulic oil. 4 In order to reduce the viscosity of grease (commonly known as butter) and reduce the running resistance of the engine, a small number of greases should be used in winter. For example, No. 1 and No. 2 lithium grease.
