It should be pointed out that even if diesel oil is precipitated and filtered before it is added to the diesel fuel tank, it is clean. However, in the refueling process, the diesel fuel is still contaminated due to factors such as refueling tools, refueling environment, and unclean port of the fuel tank, and during the operation of the diesel engine. There are many small holes in the drum, surrounded by a folded special filter paper, both ends glued and sealed with a cover. After the diesel enters the filter, it passes through the filter paper, collects in the filter drum, and then passes through the oil outlet to the fuel pump. The impurities and moisture accumulated at the bottom of the casing are released by the oil drain plug at the lower part of the casing. Several problems that are easy to be neglected 1 Some users lose the upper and lower sealing rubber gaskets and oil caps of the filter element while maintaining the diesel filter, so that the diesel oil is not filtered by the filter core, and there is no resistance from the gap between the filter element and the filter cap. The inflow into the filter cavity causes the diesel filter to lose its filter cleaning effect. 2 Some users reversed the position of the diesel filter's trays and springs, and even discarded them, leaving the inlet and outlet ports of the diesel filter cover open. Diesel was not filtered and entered the injection pump directly. 3 When someone was maintaining the diesel filter, after the filter was disassembled, it was found that the inside and the filter element were particularly clean without any impurities and moisture, ie the diesel was considered to be very clean. As everyone knows, this is an illusion, because the filter paper filter material is loose, micro pores are caused by large, then the filter paper has not played a filtering role. If during use, it is found that the three precision parts of the diesel fuel system, especially the plug pair, are heavily worn, which may be caused by poor filter elements. In such cases, the following temporary remedies may be taken when a new qualified filter cartridge cannot be purchased at a time. Use 3-6 sheets of high-grade napkins to fold into pieces of paper with a width 0.5-1.0 mm longer than the height of the filter, and then roll the folded napkin into a drum so that it can be inserted through the hole in the filter cover. After inserting the file, slowly turn both ends of the paper roll. The direction of rotation should be opposite to the winding direction of the paper roll to loosen the paper roll so that the napkin and the filter element are tightly attached. Finally, both end covers are closed. At the next maintenance, replace the filter cartridge.
