Grazing Techniques for Meat Geese
Meat geese are 20-70 days old goslings. Grazing rearing is the most suitable breeding method for geese, and it is also the most economical feeding method at present.
1. Put pasture selection

2. Grazing time

3. Pay attention to the release of water
Whenever eating, drive the goose down the river, and every half an hour or so, the water will help digestion. Continue to grazing after landing. When hot, increase the number of water discharges.
4. Feeding at night
Practice has proved that meat geese that feed 1-2 times at night grow faster. The feed can be mainly green, and stir in a proper amount of bran.
5. Prevention of pesticide poisoning
Prior to grazing, grazing routes and sites must be known in advance whether pesticides have been applied. Usually also prepare atropine, cloflozide and other antidote for timely rescue.
6. Field Management
Wild grazing, easy to mix with other geese, disputes. Therefore, be sure to mark, such as cutting or coloring. When grazing, in order not to disperse the geese, wood sticks can be used to insert the grass and hang straw hats or clothes; putting a goose, the effect is better, because the gosling goslings are very instinctive.
7. Prevent Injury
In the cold winter season, the young geese used more care. When the weather is clear and grazing, you must pay attention to letting the geese eat some grass and drinking water before grazing, and avoid the water. Otherwise, the geese will see the pond into the water at the first sight, wash and drink, it is easy to cause water damage (also known as water intoxication). In general, when the geese grow to 60-70 days old, they can choose to keep geese. If the geese do not stay, they can fatten the slaughter.
