Celery can be cultivated all year round, and its seedling time and method vary with cultivation time and mode.
1. Spring cultivation and nursery
(1) Seed treatment. Sun-planting for 5 to 6 days before sowing for 1 to 2 days. When planting seeds, they should not be directly spread on the concrete floor. Soak seeds for 24 hours, and change the water 1 or 2 times during soaking.
(2) Sowing. The sowing time of open field seedlings is from late October to the end of November, and the wintering period covers the antifreeze, or the seedlings in the greenhouse in the upper and middle of February. The seeding rate is 10 grams per square meter of seedbed, and the amount of seed is 7500 grams per hectare. Each kilogram of seeds can be mixed with 5 kilograms of fine soil before sowing. Cover the back cover O.3 cm fine soil layer and shade net.
(3) Seedbed management. Before planting the seedlings, the humidity of the seedbed is mainly maintained, and the sunshade net is removed when the seedlings are topped. After emergence, the seedbed must maintain a certain humidity, but it is not advisable to water more. After 2 to 3 days of emergence, the seedlings were started, and at the 2 leaf stage, the seedlings were again 1 time. When the seedlings grow to 3 to 4 leaves, the watering is properly controlled to refine the seedlings to promote root development. When the temperature drops below 0 °C, it can be covered with a shade net or straw curtain. In the greenhouse, seedlings and cultivation can be fertilized in the later stage of seedlings to promote their growth. If the temperature in the greenhouse is too low, pay attention to heat preservation.
2, summer cultivation and nursery
The sowing period is from late March to late May. The seeding rate is 7 grams per square meter of seedbed. Seed soaked 24 hours after sowing. Cover soil O. 8 ~ 1 cm. After emergence and time seedlings, the seedling spacing is about 2 cm. Sowed in late April, no longer covered with film. After the sowing, cover the shading net before the seedlings to help moisturize. Seedbed specifications and requirements are the same as spring cultivation.
3. Autumn cultivation and nursery
Seeding period is planted from early June to mid-July, and planted from late July to late August. Since the cultivation period in autumn is in the high temperature season in summer, and the suitable temperature for germination of celery is 15 to 25 ° C, it is difficult to emerge from more than 30 ° C, so seed treatment must be carried out.
(1) Temperature change treatment. Wash the seeds after soaking, wrap them in gauze, squeeze off some of the water, put them in the refrigerator, keep them at about 5 °C for 2 days, rinse them twice a day with water. Then spread the seeds in a light environment of 15 ~ 22 ° C, still rinse the seeds twice with cold water every day, then use the fan to blow for 5 to 10 minutes to blow off excess water attached to the seeds to prevent excessive moisture and oxygen. Insufficient, affecting germination. Generally, it can be germinated after 4 to 5 days of treatment.
(2) Hormone treatment. After soaking for 5 hours with 5 mg/L of gibberellin (nine or two), rinse with water, then soak for 8 hours with water, and then spread it in a light environment of 15-22 °C as described above.
(3) Cool treatment. The seeds that have been soaked in the first method are wrapped in gauze and squeezed, and then hung in the deep well 40 to 50 cm from the water surface, and rinsed twice a day, in the same manner as above. It can germinate after 5-6 days.
After sowing, cover a layer of fine soil of O.8 cm thick, cover 1 to 2 layers of shade nets, and then spray enough water to keep the soil moist. After the emergence of the seedlings, the sunshade net that covers the ground is removed in time. The seedlings were seedlings at the time of the true leaves, and the seedlings were again at the 2nd leaf age. The seedling distance was 4 cm × 2 cm, and the plants were colonized at 4 to 6 leaves.
4, winter cultivation and nursery
Sowing from late August to early September can be carried out in a greenhouse. If it is high temperature, it needs to be covered with a shade net. Because most of the winter cultivation seeds are new seeds harvested in the same year, the sowing fashion is in a dormant period, and the method of breaking dormancy is cultivated in the same autumn. The seeding method can be referred to the autumn cultivation and breeding. In the management of seedbeds, if the temperature has dropped, it can be carried out according to the method of spring seedlings.
