Shenfen Instrument CSY-SDC Edible Oil Quality Tester Usage Precautions:

The CSF-SDC is a portable measuring instrument designed to quickly detect the use of frying oil. The TPM value (total polar component) reflects the deterioration of the edible oil due to the high temperature during the frying process.

The deep measurement instrument CSY-SDC edible oil quality detector can complete the following measurements

• Display the temperature value of the frying oil: accurately indicate the actual oil temperature of the frying oil, and correct the accuracy of the thermometer with its own thermometer.

• Display TPM value: an indication of the degree of deterioration of the frying oil.

The sensor works on the principle of capacitance to determine the total polar component content in %.

The acid value is used to evaluate the quality of the unfried oil. The CSY-SDC edible oil quality tester is not used for the detection of acid value.

The oil temperature of the frying oil measured is at least 40 ° C and the highest is 200 ° C.

It can also be used for testing at 10 °C - 40 °C, but the measurement results are easily interfered by external factors. The measurement results in this temperature range are for reference only. The probe is 1 cm from the measuring tip to the probe handle or plastic housing. When operating, please follow the immersion depth specified in the operating instructions or the marking on the probe.

If the instrument is overheated, it may cause burns (probe and probe)!

> Do not touch the hot parts of the instrument.

> If you are burnt, rinse the wound immediately with cold water and seek medical attention if necessary.

Please follow the points below to get the most accurate results in your measurements:

• Clean the probe before each measurement or before the next continuous measurement, see Probe Cleaning, page 27.

• Try to avoid touching the probe with metal objects, such as the frying basket and the wall of the pot, as these may affect the measurement. The minimum distance from the metal object should be at least 1 cm on each side.

• Uneven oil temperature in frying oil may cause measurement errors. Please stir the instrument in frying oil.

• If the measurement is suspected of having an error due to the inclusion of water: Repeat the measurement after 5 minutes (do not fry during this time to maintain the high temperature of the grease). If the new reading goes low, measure again after 5 minutes until the reading is stable.

• Please replace the frying oil when it reaches 27% TPM. Different countries have different limits. Please be sure to replace the frying oil before reaching the limit.
