Thoughts on the Application of Internet of Things in the Construction of Smart Medical System
The concept of The Internet of things was first introduced in Bill Gates's Road to the Future in 1999, officially presented at the 2005 International Telecommunication Union Conference. In recent years, with the rapid development of science and technology such as Internet technology and sensor networks, the Internet of Things has been widely put on the agenda. The IoT-based five-horizontal and three-vertical system framework and the IoT application system of 30 scenarios in seven fields have also begun pilot research in large cities in China. As a modernized field, the medical and health undertakings are more urgent for the application and popularization of the Internet of Things. Therefore, based on the characteristics of the Internet of Things, this paper analyzes the role that the Internet of Things technology can play in the construction of intelligent medical systems related to the national economy and the people's livelihood, and the problems that should be paid attention to, in order to make a contribution to the development of the Internet of Things technology.
1 The concept of IoT technology and its characteristics
The Internet of Things is not a communication network, but based on the existing network, it realizes the combination of sensing technology, communication technology and computer technology. It uses information recognition technology such as radio frequency identification (RFID), sensor technology, two-dimensional code technology, satellite positioning technology, wireless communication technology, etc. to support remote human-computer interaction of physical, chemical and biological systems and processes, thus achieving A network that intelligently identifies, locates, tracks, monitors, and manages items. The Internet of Things technology has the characteristics of unlimited transmission, timely sensing, convenient storage, and intelligent processing to ensure stable operation of the business.
2 Internet of Things application in smart medical systems
After considerable development, many hospitals have established monitoring systems at this stage, equipped with and developed various information systems, which have made significant progress in the visual management and information construction of hospitals, but given the current low level of modernization of hospitals.
