In the experiments of scientists in China, the United States and South Korea, the flexible organic materials were successfully used to simulate the human body-like SA-I haptic nerve. The artificial sensory nerve consists of three core components: a resistive pressure sensor, an organic ring oscillator, and a synapse transistor. The system first uses a series of susceptors to sense extremely subtle pressures and produce corresponding voltage changes, which are then converted into electrical impulse signals by ring oscillators (artificial nerve fibers). The electrical signals obtained by the plurality of ring oscillators are converted into synaptic currents by synaptic transistor integration, which in turn is transmitted to the next level of nerves.
