FDA approves children's wearable defibrillators to save children's lives

The vest is in direct contact with the skin and the electrodes in the vest continuously monitor the patient's heart. The monitor on the vest collects EKG data from the electrodes. If an arrhythmia is detected, it will sound an alarm to alert the patient and the onlookers that a shock will be delivered. The electrode then releases the conductive gel and performs an electric shock to restore normal heartbeat.
Life Vest continuously monitors the patient's heart state, and if the patient is found to have a life-threatening heart rhythm, a therapeutic shock provided by the device can restore the normal heart rhythm. In addition, with the use of the defibrillator, further surgical interventions such as an implant defibrillation procedure can be provided.
“Usually, many children are forced to use medical devices designed for adult standards, and there are currently no products for children to develop.
