The digital core application uses magnetic resonance imaging to reconstruct the three-dimensional digital core of the microscopic pore network of the rock.
Study microscopic seepage mechanism, simulate core flooding experiments, predict core anisotropy parameters, evaluate enhanced oil recovery effects, simulate and predict reservoir production dynamics, and optimize comprehensive measures for oil and gas field development.


Nuclear magnetic applications:
1) In the field of digital core applications: core microscopic pore structure research, microscopic infiltration mechanism research, online flooding experiments under formation conditions, enhanced oil recovery research and multiphase seepage research have all been successfully applied.
2) Magnetic resonance imaging technology provides the basic elements of digital cores and builds digital cores.
3) Through the NMR pore structure and permeability calculation results, combined with digital core technology, the digital core pore structure and permeability model of tight sandstone are established to replace mercury intrusion analysis and permeability measurement.
4) In view of the sensitivity of nuclear magnetic resonance technology to pore fluids, it is expected to realize the dynamic digital core of core pore fluid in the process of displacement: combined with the online nuclear magnetic resonance detection platform under high temperature and high pressure conditions, the newly developed imaging sequence of NewMay Technology can be realized. The displacement process image of short relaxation and compact core is used to display the dynamic and microscopic distribution of pore fluid in the process of displacement in real time by using three-dimensional reconstruction technology, which provides microscopic evaluation methods for the study of residual oil distribution and enhanced oil recovery measures.
