Three cups of milk daily prevent breast cancer
The study, published in the September issue of the International Journal of Cancer, traces the habits of nearly 50,000 Norwegian women who drink milk from small to large.
According to the University of Oslo University’s research team, women who drink milk from childhood have a lower risk of developing breast cancer between the ages of 34 and 39. However, by the age of 40 and before the age of 49, drinking milk does not have the benefit of preventing breast cancer.
However, women who drink milk still have a lower risk of developing breast cancer than women who do not drink milk after all factors such as drinking, age, weight, education, and exercise are included.
The director of the Department of Nutrition of the Canadian Dairy Farmers Association, McDonald said that women should drink more milk, which is another strong evidence.
The scientific community believes that the anti-cancer effect of milk can be attributed to the complex linolenic acid in milk fat. Ms. McDonald said that scientific research has repeatedly pointed out that compound linoleic acid is an anti-cancer substance for animals and has a role in inhibiting breast cancer cells in humans.
She said that even if we do not look at the effect of milk on the prevention of breast cancer, the calcium contained in it has an obvious effect on women and all people in preventing osteoporosis.
